Class description:
Do you have an outdated necklace or piece of jewelry you want to revive? Have you broken a necklace lately and still have all the beads? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then this class is perfect for you. Turn an old necklace, bracelet, or piece of jewelry into a pair of cluster earrings. Incorporate basic wire wrapping techniques and your own design ideas into this class and you will leave with a fabulous pair of earrings all your friends will covet! You will learn how to attach beads or stones through wire wrapping onto a chain to create a dangly pair of versatile earrings suitable for day or evening!! Once you have mastered this technique, you can create all kinds of "cluster" jewelry including necklaces and various kinds of earrings. Not only will you make a pair of totally unique and original earrings like the ones shown here, students will learn how to use basic jewelry-making tools--needle nose pliers, wire cutters, and round nosed pliers.
Special notes and items to bring:
Students should bring the jewelry they want to re-create into earrings and if you don't have any, the teacher will have some on hand for you! All other supplies included.
