Class description:

 

Create your own hoop earrings! In this class you will take plain old wire (gold, silver, brass, or colored) and turn it into a fashionable pair of earrings. Students will make the earring hoop from wire and then learn how to carefully and artistically wrap beads or small stones to the hoop. Wire wrapping is such a fun and easy technique to master! If you want to try something more advanced, you can even add a stone to the hoop that dangles. Students will receive detailed instructions in case you want to make more earrings at home.

Create an exquisite pair of earrings that look like they cost hundreds for a fraction of the price!

*Learn something new - this wire wrapping technique is different than the one taught in the wire wrapped ring class, but just as fun!

Read this before you register

  • DIY Lounge is located at collage, a locally owned business that sells art supplies with a class space in the back. We have two locations in the Portland, Oregon area.

  • On average we require a minimum of 3 students to run a class. Class minimums are decided by teachers depending on the needs of the class. If registration is lower, the class will be cancelled and any students who have registered will be notified via email.
  • If a class is cancelled we can apply your payment toward another class registration or refund your money in full. Your choice!
  • Online pre-registration is required, but exceptions can be made on a case-by-case basis. If you require an exception, please use our contact page and let us know your situation.
  • At least 48 hour notice is required if you need to cancel your class registration.
  • Be sure to check the supply list provided in the class notes and bring those items with you to the class.
