Class description:
Creating a small, personal shrine is a way to commemorate or acknowledge a feeling, goal, intention, memory, thought, idea, or even to focus on a special word or color. Shrines are meant to represent something personal and unique to you. In this workshop, you will be provided with two small matchboxes and all the materials you need to create two teeny, tiny personal shrines. Your shrine can be filled with objects that represent symbolism and meaning, or they can just be fun, filled with objects of surprise and delight.

- DIY Lounge is located at collage, a locally owned business that sells art supplies with a class space in the back. We have two locations in the Portland, Oregon area.
Visit our locations page addresses and directions. - On average we require a minimum of 3 students to run a class. Class minimums are decided by teachers depending on the needs of the class. If registration is lower, the class will be cancelled and any students who have registered will be notified via email.
- If a class is cancelled we can apply your payment toward another class registration or refund your money in full. Your choice!
- Online pre-registration is required, but exceptions can be made on a case-by-case basis. If you require an exception, please use our contact page and let us know your situation.
- At least 48 hour notice is required if you need to cancel your class registration.
- Be sure to check the supply list provided in the class notes and bring those items with you to the class.
