Class description:

Finally, you don't have to pay a babysitter to watch your kids sit in front of the television and eat all your food! Just bring them to Kid's Craft Night/Parent's Date Night at the DIY Lounge at Collage! Drop your kids off, ages 5-12, at 5:30pm and pick them up at 8pm.

We will do high quality, really fun arts and crafts with your kids while you get to go out to dinner, drinks or anything else that takes 2 ½ hours to accomplish!!!! No need to worry about the kids, they will be having fun, meeting new friends, learning and making great arts and crafts with Dawn Sorem, who has a masters in education and teaches many other art classes to both children and adults .

All supplies and a snack included.

*Parents MUST fill out registration form upon arrival. Necessary Info:

1. Two parent contacts for the night of this class (cell phones and/or number where you will be)

2. One emergency contact

3. Allergy and behavioral issues

Prompt 8 PM pick ups are expected. Fines will apply for late arrivals

Read this before you register

  • DIY Lounge is located at collage, a locally owned business that sells art supplies with a class space in the back. We have two locations in the Portland, Oregon area.

  • On average we require a minimum of 3 students to run a class. Class minimums are decided by teachers depending on the needs of the class. If registration is lower, the class will be cancelled and any students who have registered will be notified via email.
  • If a class is cancelled we can apply your payment toward another class registration or refund your money in full. Your choice!
  • Online pre-registration is required, but exceptions can be made on a case-by-case basis. If you require an exception, please use our contact page and let us know your situation.
  • At least 48 hour notice is required if you need to cancel your class registration.
  • Be sure to check the supply list provided in the class notes and bring those items with you to the class.
