Class description:
Are you interested in learning to make a unique pendant or sun catcher for yourself, or an inexpensive way to make a gift for a friend? In this class you will learn the basic copper foil solder. With this technique the possibilities for projects are endless. Students will leave class with a small completed scrap glass sun catcher or pendant. Class focuses on using recycled and scrap glass. All project supplies included in cost of class, additional tools required.
Special notes and items to bring:
*Safety glasses and Soldering iron (for stained glass, not electrical)
All other supplies provided.

- DIY Lounge is located at collage, a locally owned business that sells art supplies with a class space in the back. We have two locations in the Portland, Oregon area.
Visit our locations page addresses and directions. - On average we require a minimum of 3 students to run a class. Class minimums are decided by teachers depending on the needs of the class. If registration is lower, the class will be cancelled and any students who have registered will be notified via email.
- If a class is cancelled we can apply your payment toward another class registration or refund your money in full. Your choice!
- Online pre-registration is required, but exceptions can be made on a case-by-case basis. If you require an exception, please use our contact page and let us know your situation.
- At least 48 hour notice is required if you need to cancel your class registration.
- Be sure to check the supply list provided in the class notes and bring those items with you to the class.
