Class description:

Ever wonder how a beautiful new piece of jewelry can look like a one-of-a-kind antique? In this class you will first learn how to design and construct your own copper, sterling silver or brass necklace (using chain, a clasp, and a pendent). Then, you will learn how to apply various solutions, called patinas, to darken your necklace to give it that fabulous vintage appeal. Students will receive instruction, all materials and supplies, including sterling silver, copper or brass chain, pendents and clasps. You could buy this necklace in a fancy boutique for big bucks, or you can learn to become the artist yourself! These necklaces are perfect for gift-giving too!  Master this technique in just one class, and then you can apply it to all your jewelry at home!

Special notes and items to bring:

All supplies will be included, but students are welcome to bring any of their own jewelry to transform them into vintage pieces.
